Would you still eat meat if you had to kill the animals yourself?

It seems like the majority of us eat meat but only because we don't see the process of it being killed and packaged. Most of us enjoy the occasional hamburger but we would never shoot a cow in the head with a bolt gun. If we were forced to confront the moral implications of killing an organism that feels pain how many of us would still eat meat do you think? Of course there are always going to be a percentage of us who don't find it objectionable in any way to kill an animal but do you think they would be in the minority?
The question isn't if you were starving and had nothing else to eat. It goes under the assumption that nonmeat food is plenty available and it depends completely on your desire to eat meat.
Would you kill it and eat it if you didn't have to gut and clean it? Is it just the "yuk" factor? Is there a moral factor involved?
Best Answer:
I don't eat meat. I am a PROUD vegetarian, and I have been one since I was four years old.

Eventually. I know it would be tough but I have handled enough bloody beef to get past it.
