Is it possible to do a Chapter 7 bankruptcy with home equity in ohio?

I met with a lawyer today and he told me I couldn't file Ch 7 because I had equity in my home, and couldn't file a ch 13 because I couldn't prove that I could make the monthly payments...................... What!!!!!!!!!! Do I have any options?
